Heidi Saarinen is a RN, MSc in Social Development and Health, and a humanitarian health expert with strong experience in conflict and low-income contexts. She is currently pursuing her second master’s degree in public and global health at Tampere University, Finland, with a special interest in health in conflict and emergency settings.
Saarinen has coordinated multilateral health programs and interventions in Ukraine, Somalia and Nepal, ranging from mobile health units and health promotion to community-based mental health support.
