FESTMIH Academic Secretariat & Coordination Office

The FESTMIH Secretariat and Coordination Office is hosted by the Young Professionals’ Section of the German Society for Tropical Medicine, Travel Medicine and Global Health (Young DTG).

Serving as the central hub of FESTMIH, the Secretariat coordinates communication between member societies, supports the board in strategic and administrative matters, and ensures smooth implementation of ongoing projects and initiatives. The office manages organizational processes, facilitates exchange between European partners, and provides continuity for FESTMIH’s long-term goals.

The Secretariat team combines expertise in clinical and translational research, education, and project management with an extensive international network. This enables efficient coordination of scientific activities, meetings, and joint initiatives within the FESTMIH community.

The Young DTG provides the institutional framework and resources for the Secretariat. Their active involvement in scientific exchange, education, and global health initiatives ensures a dynamic, future-oriented perspective in the Secretariat’s work.
