The students of the Advanced Master of Science in Global Health at Ghent University invite you to their annual seminar, this year dedicated to the theme Collaboration in Global Health.

Collaboration is invoked in almost every global health strategy – yet what makes partnerships genuinely equitable, durable and effective remains contested. Under the subtitle From Lived Experience to Shared Action, the seminar moves from personal and institutional experience towards concrete ideas for rethinking how we work together.

The afternoon programme combines four formats:

  • a student talk opening the theme from the perspective of the next generation of global health practitioners
  • a panel discussion on collaboration in the context of climate change
  • a keynote lecture by an expert in the field
  • an interactive mini workshop

A detailed programme will be announced by the organisers ahead of the event.

FESTMIH is pleased to support this student-led initiative and encourages members of its national societies – in particular early-career professionals and students – to attend.
