Second World Summit for Social Development
Given growing inequalities and demographic shifts, a renewed commitment to social progress is more urgent than ever. Building on the 1995 Summit, a Second Summit in Doha will convene to accelerate action on poverty eradication, the promotion of full employment, and social inclusion.
World leaders will come together to redefine strategies and strengthen global partnerships, aiming to build more resilient, inclusive, and sustainable societies. The goal is to give new momentum to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and ensure that no one is left behind.
The summit will serve as a pivotal platform for dialogue and cooperation among governments, UN organizations, civil society, and the private sector, seeking to find joint solutions for inclusive social development.
