2nd Theodor Bilharz Conference
We are excited to announce the 2nd Theodor Bilharz Conference, which will take place in Leiden, the Netherlands, from 9–11 June 2027.
Following the successful meeting in Tübingen in 2025, we look forward to welcoming the international schistosomiasis community to Leiden for three days of scientific exchange, collaboration, and discussion. The 2027 conference also marks 50 years of schistosomiasis research at Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC), providing a special opportunity to celebrate past achievements while looking ahead to future advances in the field.
The scientific program will include sessions across eight thematic areas covering the breadth of schistosomiasis research. Information on registration and abstract submission will be announced in the coming months.
