The Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine (BNITM) in Hamburg, Germany, invites physicians to its 2027 Diploma Course in Tropical Medicine & Hygiene, running 5 April – 25 June 2027. First offered in 1905, the DTM&H is one of Europe's longest-established tropical medicine courses and prepares physicians for clinical and public health work in tropical and subtropical settings.
The full-time, in-person programme covers the epidemiology, diagnosis and treatment of tropical and travel-associated infections (bacterial, viral, fungal and parasitic), envenomation, pre-travel and expatriate advice, public and occupational health in low-resource settings, and hands-on laboratory and microscopy training. Teaching is delivered in English by more than 120 lecturers from BNITM and partner institutions worldwide.
