Cochrane systematic reviews are being used increasingly to help guide evidence-informed decision making. The objectives of this session are to:
1. Outline how the Cochrane Collaboration operates, and give examples of reviews that have influenced policy
2. Highlight new and upcoming Cochrane reviews with policy implications
3. Explain how GRADE is used in guideline development
4. Explore communication strategies to maximise research impact and induce change
